Bottled by Ian Macleod Distillers, the Chieftain's Limited Edition Collection is a rare line of exceptional single malts sourced from the finest distilleries in Scotland. Chieftain's 14 Year Old "Clynelish" is a limited edition release which was distilled in 1997 and bottled without the use of chill-filtering in 2011. Finished in hogshead, this complex single malt offers a pronounced nose of heather, oak and dried herbs backed by a underlying touch of smoke. Notes of dried fruit, citrus, malt and sweet heather are featured on the palate, with hints of white pepper lingering through the finish. Only 331 bottles produced.
