A brand steeped in history and heritage, Tyrconnell dates back to the glory days of Irish Whiskey. Named after a successful racehorse, Tyrconnell was the flagship brand of the Watts Distillery and was a best seller in the United States until Prohibition. Although the Tyrconnell brand has been owned by numerous distilleries throughout the years, it was revived in 1988 by the Cooley Distillery who have since brought this historical Irish whiskey back to life.

Distilled in the old Irish tradition, Tyrconnell 10 Year Old Madeira Finish Single Malt Irish Whiskey is matured for ten years in American oak, and then aged for an additional six to eight months in ex-Madeira casks to impart further depth and flavor. The result is a bright, clean, fruit-forward single malt with complex notes of peach, mango and cantaloupe, balanced by hints of honey, vanilla cream, marzipan and coconut.
