Description
 

Germain-Robin Absinthe Superieure is produced by Greenway Distillers: a company founded by distiller Crispin Cain, and his business partner Tamar Kaye. Using an old family recipe, Cain produces wine from honey and apples, and then distills it on the antique Germain-Robin Cognac still. The spirit is then blended with clean, pure water and then the herbs are added after one week. Selected for their quality, appearance, and taste, some of these carefully grown herbs include rose geranium, lemon balm, wormwood, hyssop, and lemon verbena. Each individual element influences the overall taste of this unique absinthe. Absolutely no artificial coloring is added.

Slightly spicy on the nose, pronounced notes of star anise are complemented by light notes of citrus and honey. Light and smooth on the palate, a subtle sweetness gives way to a refreshing cooling sensation, especially noticeable on the finish. Unique and complex, this remarkable absinthe is definitely an interesting experience!
