Description   Pira Dolcetto is made from fruit from a half hectare in the Liste Vineyard in Barolo, from vines planted in 1981. Maceration on the skins lasts for 5 days, followed by maturation in 2-year-old barriques for 8 months and 2 months in the bottle. This creates a wine that is a bright, ruby red, featuring fresh, juicy red fruits, a hint of chocolate and fresh herbs, floral notes, and ripe tannins. About 400 cases are produced annually. Product of Italy Alcohol by Volume: 14%
