Philippe Latourelle Cognac VS is a delicate spirit of surprising complexity. While the producer is located near the border of Petite Champagne and Fins Bois, it is crafted through the masterful blending of several regions; this bottling displays floral notes and aromatic intensity from Grande Champagne, violet, berry, and orchard fruit from Petite Champagne, and the roundness of Fins Bois eaux-de-vie. Four years maturation in Linousin oak barrels integrate these elements and lend subtle vanilla and toffee characteristics.
