Description   94 Points - James Halliday's Australian Wine Companion 90 Points - Wine Spectator AAA is a vibrant blend of 72% Shiraz and 28% Grenache from some special little pockets amongst the Paxton vineyards. The Shiraz was selected from the ‘Gateway' and ‘Jones Block’ vineyards, renowned for producing some of the best fruit in the region. These select parcels were blended with a complementary Grenache to create a wine that is engaging to a wide range of drinkers. On the nose, sweet berry aromas are backed by a light floral note which leads to rich flavors of ripe cherry, rhubarb and licorice on the palate. Soft notes of spice and white pepper emerge on the lingering finish. Product of Australia Alcohol by Volume: 14.5%
