Fivewise Meritage Blend Mountain View Monterey Chardonnay Mountain View Monterey Pinot Noir

Created from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, the Fivewise Meritage Blend is a full-bodies, rich and complex wine with the structure of the Cabernet Sauvignon, rounded out by the softness of the Merlot. Cabernet Franc adds complexity to the nose while the Malbec elevates the fruit and the Petit Verdot adds an inkiness to the color. Aromas of mixed berries and plums deepen and gain complexity with notes of chocolate, spice, tobacco and oak. The palate offers generous fruit flavors supported by a strong, ripe tannic structure and balanced acidity. A bold mineral note appears on the finish and is complemented by a hint of dark cocoa.

This fresh, expressive Chardonnay boasts intense notes of pineapple, melon, lime, and wildflowers on both the nose and palate. The lingering finish displays soft notes of white peach, honey, and brisk minerality. This full-bodied wine is well-balanced with crisp acidity and will pair well with light pasta dishes and seafood.

Matured for twelve months in American oak barrels, Mountain View Monterey Pinot Noir is a terrific value, offering loads of bright cherry, plum and raspberry flavors, accented by hints of vanilla and earth. Balanced acidity and moderate tannins are complemented by a hint of oak on the finish.

The juice of Roar "Sierra Mar" Pinot Noir spent 24-28 days on the skins before being pressed to 78% new French oak barrels for 11 months aging. The wine was racked once and bottled unfiltered and unrefined. This amazingly big, yet elegant Pinot Noir shows herbal sagebrush and violet notes with deep undertones of molasses and lifted hints of graphite. On the palate, violets and black fruit aromas are supported by a toasty-peppery undertone. As the palate opens, brighter red fruit and black licorice emerge, leading into the rich structured finish.
