Solbeso is made from a unique blend of aromatic cacao fruit gathered from fair-trade family farms in Peru and Ecuador. Solbeso works directly with the growers and trade organizations to reclaim and process the cacao fruit, a by-product of chocolate making, at the source. Using specialty yeasts, the highly perishable cacao fruit goes through open-air fermentation. It is then double distilled using their custom-made copper alembics located in Peru and Ecuador. The distillate is filtered and bottles in Bardstown, Kentucky.
Made with 100% fresh cacao fruit juice, Solbeso offers vibrant notes of honeysuckle, orange blossom, and muted herbs with subtle notes of citrus and cacao nib on the finish that add a unique twist to a variety of cocktails.
