Double Gold Medal - San Francisco World Spirits Competition, 2006
Unlike most, Martin Miller's London Dry Gin begins with a pot distilled base spirit, allowing it to retain body and flavor. It is then introduced to juniper, orange peel, lemon peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, cassia bark, licorice root, coriander, orris root, and angelica. Miller's Gin then goes on a 3,000 mile round trip to Iceland for blending with pure glacial waters, showcasing the botanicals and lending a soft, almost sweet character. The finished spirit is rounded and citrusy, with juniper appearing on the midpalate.
