Michel Couvreur is a Belgian-born negociant who imports Scotch whiskies to his facilities in Burgundy, France, where they undergo a slow aging process in sherry casks. While this may be unusual to say the least, the results are outstanding. Considered one of the last artisanal producers of Scotch whiskey, he is a perfectionist that is really dedicated to producing an unrivaled, high quality spirit. The 24 Year "Very Sherried" Single Malt was matured in a Spanish sherry cask and reduced with Loch Katrine water. Powerful aromas and flavors of tropical flower, almond, vanilla, and sherry complement the silky texture and lengthy finish. The bottle is hand numbered and is packaged in an expertly crafted wooden box, further proving Couvreur's commitment to excellence.
