Established in 1846 by Filippo Mazzetti, Mazzetti d'Altavilla is a family owned and operated distillery located in the town of Monferrato in the Piedmont region. Their wide range of grappas are vacuum-distilled, which reduces the atmospheric pressure in the still and allows the spirit to be distilled at a lower temperature, producing a cleaner, more refined distillate.

An excellent value, Mazzetti d'Altavilla Grappa di Barbera is a deeply aromatic, medium-bodied spirit offering rich, complex notes of plum, blackberry and earth, complemented by a touch of baking spice on the finish.
