Matusalem Gran Reserva Rum was born in Cuba in 1872, and is still made using the same solera process that earned its early renown. Now produced in the Dominican Republic, but still using careful French oak cask aging, this is a complex spirit that will delight any rum enthusiast. Mouthwatering vanilla, molasses, caramel and plum aromas introduce a semi-sweet palate of toffee, vanilla, chocolate, toast, and maple. While best savored straight or on the rocks, Matusalem Gran Reserva also elevates rum cocktails to the sublime.
