Mathilde Pear Liqueur is made with Williams Bon Chrétien pears, which are grown mainly in the orchards of the Anjou region, in the Loire valley. The region is well known throughout France for its mild climate, with a good balance between sunshine and rainfall that enables the fruit to ripen well.

In maceration, pears are a timid, subtle fruit. To capture every nuance of the fruit's aromas, Mathilde Pear is made from a pear eau-de-vie that is enriched with a steeped fruit and alcohol mixture. This process creates a liqueur that perfectly mirrors the fruit flesh. This extra care and attention shines through in the glass, showcasing pear's tart sweetness at perfect ripeness. No stabilizers or preservatives are added to Mathilde liqueurs.
