The Maison Surrenne bottlings are highly acclaimed, authentic cognacs from the cellars of Cognac's largest remaining family-owned house. Their eight major cellars hold extensive stocks of handcrafted distillates that are maintained pure and unblended. Selected by the founders of Germain-Robin, these high quality distillates emphasize their individuality by expressing their region, vintage, distillery and even individual cask.

This exceptional cognac is from the single-still Galtaud distillery, founded in 1800 in the village of Mainxe. The unique terrior of the Borderies district helps the cognac develop a rich, fruit forward palate complemented by hints of violets and nut kernels. Bottled in March of 2008, this is Lot 1989 from Casks 9, 4 and 16.
