Lurra, or "terroir" in Basque, hails from the Navarra appellation, which is located in the northeast of Spain and lies between Rioja and the French border. Lurra's Garnacha vineyards are situated at high altitudes in the southern region, where the climate is warmer and the soils are a combination of chalk and clay. Produced in stainless steel tanks, Lurra Garnacha is a fresh, medium-bodied red displaying concentrated notes of blackberry, plum and dark cherry on the nose and palate. Hints of earth and spice mingle with soft tannins and lively acidity on the finish.
