One of the Best I've Tried |

I managed to find a bottle of this on the shelf in a Denver store. ( I got batch 18.) The herbs in this are perfectly balanced. I put a little more water with mine than I normally do, as it is a little higher proof, but take no sugar. It's just delicious.

This stuff is very SMOOTH and elegant tasting in your mouth with a nice balance of the trinity of herbs with none over-shadowing the others . A nice sweet finish that goes on and on ... I find that getting the right dilution ratio is important . I recommend 1:5(sinthe to water) . Just wish it was in stock !!!

I found Leopold's offering to have the ability to linger, leaving you wanting more.to me...it has a wonderful old fashioned feel almost comfortable and friendly.I wont get into mouthfeel, louche.aroma etc...take it from a YEARS long absinthe drinker.this one is worth it*CAUTION*this one is for the expeirenced.if you are a rookie stay away.

The aroma is very unique. When I first smelled it I wasn't sure what to expect. It uses a Pisco base. I wasn't blown away or anything, but I enjoyed it. It tastes like traditional absinthe and has no detectable flaws.
This stuff is easy to drink.
