Created by noted winemaker Benjamin Romeo, La Vina de Andres Romeo is a pure, lively red composed entirely of tempranillo sourced from very old vines. An inviting nose of ripe blackberry, raspberry and plum is enhanced by complex notes of mint, vanilla, smoke and cedar. The dense, structured palate offers layers of berry, dark chocolate and tobacco, supported by a bold mineral note. Hints of anise and dried herbs appear on the finish. If stored properly, this powerful Rioja will continue to evolve for another 8 - 10 years and provide a drinking window extending from 2018 to 2030.
