The La Quintinye Vermouth is a collaboration between Jean-Sebastien Robicquet, the grape loving distiller behind Ciroc vodka, and EuroWineGate, the people behind the G’Vine gin. It is crafted from selected wines from the South West of France: Ugni-Blanc, Colombard, Muscadelle, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, fortified with neutral spirit and aromatized with 18 to 28 different herbs and spices depending on the style. However, the core botanicals are Artemisia, Nutmeg, Angelica, Cinchona, Orris roots, Quassia Amara, Cardamom, Vine Flower, Citrus Aurantium, Ginger, Cinnamon and Liquorice.
Golden Straw in color, La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Blanc is a blend of white wines, Pineau des Charentes Blanc and aromatized with 18 botanicals. The result is a fresh, elegant vermouth with aromas of orange blossom, apricot and mild spice accompanied by soft wormwood and candied fruit on the nose. The elegant, well integrated palate offers notes of ripe yellow fruits and brioche with a background of wooded spice.
