The La Fortuna estate is located just a few kilometers east of the town of Montalcino in Tuscany, the most important wine regions in Italy. Winemaker Angelo Zannoni is the fifth generation of winemakers at La Fortuna. Back in 2007 the winery celebrated their 100th anniversary.
Ruby red in color, La Fortuna Brunello Di Montalcino is crafted from 100% Sangiovese, offering a bouquet of fresh, intense aromas of graphite, chocolate dipped cherry, violet, mint and white spice on the nose. The full-bodied palate is aligned with the nose, offering mouth watering acidity, balanced tannins and a rich, supple texture. Subtle notes of baking spice and fresh plum lingers through the long finish.

"Saturated with cherry, raspberry, spice and tobacco aromas and flavors, this strikes a balanced between the supple texture, succulent acidity and refined yet gripping tannins. Really sings on the lingering finish. Best from 2019 through 2035." - Wine Spectator
