90 Points - Wine Spectator
The L'Ecole No. 41 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of grapes from six prestigious vineyard sites representing four unique soil types in the Walla Walla Valley. Each lot was hand harvested and gently crushed into 1.5 ton stainless steel fermenters and then aged in 100% small French oak barrels for over 22 months.
With an elegant, old world structure, the L'Ecole No. 41 Cabernet Sauvignon shows pretty aromas of dark fruit, earth, fresh herbs and baking spices. A robust core of blackberry, plum and layering ripe cherry with subtle notes of spice, coffee and sweet tobacco are framed with polished tannins on a rich, harmonious finish.
