John L. Sullivan was the last Bare-Knuckle Boxing Heavyweight Champion of the World. In 1889, he defended his title for the final time in a historic 75 round fight. An icon of the saloon culture, his portrait hung on the wall of nearly every establishment across the nation. Dedicated to this boxing legend, John L. Sullivan "The Ten Count" Blended Irish Whiskey is a rich, complex spirit created from both single grain and single malt whiskies. Both have been aged in bourbon casks for a minimum of ten years, lending harmonious notes of chocolate, honey, toffee, raisin, fruitcake and spice to both the nose and palate. The malt was then finished in sherry casks, which has added a delicate, balanced sweetness to the lingering finish.
