From New Orleans native and master absinthe distiller T.A. Breaux, comes Jade Liqueurs "Nouvelle-Orleans" Absinthe Superieure, an absinthe rooted in the heritage that made the Sazerac cocktail and the absinthe frappe famous. Nouvelle-Orleans Absinthe presents the connoisseur with a unique perfume and texture that disappeared almost a century ago. Created in France by T.A. Breaux, this premium absinthe is distilled using 130 year-old copper absinthe stills in accordance to the most demanding original ‘Swiss Method’, including French eau de vie, only the finest whole botanicals, and never any artificial colorants or commercial flavorings.

The company is currently in the process of changing their label, so the bottle you receive may not have the same label depicted in the photograph.

Very nice experience April 11, 2011

Not only with this Absinthe but with DrinkUpNY, order come fast and all bottles well packed!! A big difference from my past BAD experience with Le Boheme in UK (Absinthe Original Liquor Store), paid twice more for some Czech Absinthe that was never delivered,  had to place a dispute with Credit Card...be aware about this store in UK!

I have ordered at least 6 bottles of N.O. At least until they put the other jades back on the market. Ive been drinking N.O since 2007. and yes the coloration gets lighter and lighter with every botle I open. still delicous, but I miss the beautiful color. Might as well be a Blanche

My favorite current U.S. absinthe October 2, 2009

I fell in love with this stuff back when one could only find it through LDF.  This tastes the same as I remember it, but the color (pre louche) isn't nearly as vibrant as it used to be.  I have pictures of several year old Jades, and there's no question the color is much paler now.  It's not just this N-O either.  If this wonderful color could have been maintained, and it was a tad more affordable ($90-100 range)... it would score a 5.  I understand because of the care that goes into these products that it will never retail for what some others do, but I think it could come down a bit.

This Absinthe Rocks! September 28, 2009

I love everything about this absinthe but the price. I bought a bottle as a treat with tax returns last year. I would like to sample some other Jade absinthes. I hope all are not as expensive.

This is the real deal! Well worth the money. The Jades are the top of the line. I can't wait for the Suisse Verte and the PF to come to the US!!!
