This complex cocktail was the signature drink of the Holland House, once one of New York's finest cocktail bars and the former workplace of Harry Craddock (the inventor of numerous classic cocktails) before he moved across to the Savoy Bar in London.

The Holland House

1 3/4 oz   Bols Genever
3/4 oz      Perucchi Vermouth Blanc
1/2oz       freshly squeezed lemon juice*
1/4 oz      Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur

Directions:
Shake the ingredients with large ice cubes and double strain into a pre-chilled cocktail glass.
