Hiro Sake is expertly produced at the award-winning Taiyo Sake Brewery in Murakami, the northernmost town in the Niigata Prefecture. Inspired by the ancient recipe of Hiroemon Takeda, the renowned Samurai and sake connoisseur, Hiro is crafted by the brewery's renowned Toji (master brewer) using only specially polished rice from the Niigata Region. On the nose, Hiro Junmai displays inviting earthy aromas, accented by pear, banana and creamy vanilla nougat. The palate is light and delicate with a subtle sweetness complementing notes of melon, tapioca and white pepper. Serve warm or as an aperitif.
