Douloufakis Nikos Winery "Enotria" Red 2011 (Crete, Greece) Gaia Estate Nemea Agiorgitiko Skouras Moscofilero

This privately owned vineyards are certified 100% organic and span over 70 acres of rolling hills in the Dafnes sub-region, a village close to Iraklio in Crete. The Enotria is a blend of 40% Kotsifali, 20% Liaktiko, 20% Syrah, producing an aromatic, rich, full-bodied wine with low acidity and soft tannins. The palate is intense with rich, ripe red fruit and sweet spices.

After fermentation, this Agorgitiko is aged for 12 months in French oak casks, and is bottled without chilling or filtration. This results in a bold, ripe and age-worthy red.

90 Points - Wine Advocate

Skouras Moscofilero is light, aromatic and refreshing, with opulent aromas of white flowers, honeysuckle and passion fruit leading to a crisp, fruit-forward palate. Lively acidity merges with hints of lemon, orange and white pepper on the delicate, yet persistent finish.
