While this cocktail's origins have been obscured by time, it is rumored to have been invented in 1919 by Count Camillo Negroni, a Florentine aristocrat who was looking to strengthen his Americano cocktail. He asked the bartender to add gin instead of soda water, and an instant classic was born. While the Gran Classico version does not display the same vibrant color of a typical Negroni, it's complex combination of herbs and roots make this an excellent interpretation of the original. Gran Classico Negroni

1 Part Gran Classico Bitter
1 Part Voyager Dry Gin
1 Part Boissiere Sweet Vermouth

Stir gently with ice, strain, and garnish with an orange twist.
