Established in 2002, Gouguenheim Winery is located seventy kilometers from the city of Mendoza in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. Their Uco Valley vineyards are cultivated at an altitude of more than 3,600 feet above sea level, making Gouguenheim one of the highest estates in the region.
Matured in French and American oak for four to six months, Gouguenheim "Momentos del Valle" Valle Escondido Pinot Noir offers intense aromas of raspberry and cherry, accented by a touch of mint. The bright, fruit-forward palate displays soft, silky tannins, well balanced acidity and a hint of vanilla which appears on the persistent finish.
