Released by Buffalo Trace as a part of their 2010 Antique Collection, this highly anticipated rye is available in very limited quantities. The current release of Sazerac 18 Year Old offers a bold, spicy nose with aromas of dried fruit, black pepper, charred oak and tobacco. The rich, textured palate is spicy and powerful, but backed by a sweet, mellow note of red berry and citrus fruit. The long, peppery finish is preceded by notes of mint, cinnamon, vanilla and oak.
