Crafted from a mashbill of Irish malted barley and corn, Glendalough Double Barrel Irish Whiskey is aged for three and a half years in first-fill Bourbon barrels and then aged for another six months in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, offering rich notes of cherry, fig, lemongrass and a hint of nutmeg. The palate is slightly sweet and creamy with additional notes of butterscotch, honey, dried fruit, chocolate and brown sugar. Subtle notes of ginger spice with a faint glimmer of almond lingers through the long finish.
