Located at heights of 350 - 400 meters, the G.D. Vajra estate is situated in Vergne, the highest village in the Commune of Barolo. In order to encompass the unique terroir of the region, Albe Barolo is Created with a selection of grapes from each of the estate's Nebbiolo Vineyards. The result is an elegant, distinctive young wine with generous aromas of red berries, anise and rose petals. Rich flavors of cherry, orange peel and oak are supported by a strong mineral backbone, bold acidity and firm tannins.
