The Foreau estate was established in 1923 and is currently owned and operated by Philippe Foreau, the third generation of the Foreau family. Their 11 1/2 hectares of vineyards are located in the northeast corner of Vouvray and are tended with organic fertilizers and without the use of herbicides.

Foreau "Domaine de Clos Naudin" Vouvray Sec opens with delicate floral aromas which lead to a lively, mineral-laden palate brimming with ripe fruit. Elegant flavors of peach, grapefruit, honeysuckle and citrus are complemented by a touch of smoke on the finish. While most chenin blancs are best enjoyed now, Foreau's Vouvray Sec will be even more expressive after three to five years.
