Founded in 1896 by Giovanni Foppiano, Foppiano Vineyards is one of Sonoma County's oldest continually-operated, family-owned wineries. Their vineyards are located just south of the town of Healdsburg, in the acclaimed Russian River Valley appellation, where the cool morning fog and warm summer days create an ideal microclimate for grape growing. Foppiano Petite Sirah is the estate's flagship wine, offering enticing aromas of ripe blueberry and dark chocolate, complemented by a light floral note. Cherry, blackberry and blueberry notes emerge on the palate, where they mingle with hints of vanilla, ginger and white pepper.
