Description   Finca's Sophenia Merlot is the product of a long Argentine winemaking tradition. The vineyards that grow Finca's Merlot grapes are situated in the foothills of the Andes, at an elevation of 4000 feet, and are blessed with gravelly, well-drained soils. This results in lush grapes that are harvested with very low yields. The vintners then age this flavorful wine in French barriques for 10-12 months to enhance and complement the natural varietal character. Product of Argentina Alcohol by Volume: 13.5%
