Domaine Grosbois is located in the heart of the Loire Valley in Chinon, France. The estate has been family owned since 1820, and is currently in the hands of skilled proprietor Nicolas Grosbois. The vineyards are comprised of 13 plots that were designated back in the 15th century. A range of seven Cabernet Franc wines are crafted based on the unique plots of their estate.
An elegant, unoaked style of Chinon, Domaine Grosbois "La Cuisine de ma Mere" is composed entirely of Cabernet Franc. The nose is fresh and expressive with youthful fresh aromas of ripe berry and green peppercorn, while the soft, silky and fruit-driven palate offers black fruit, roasted pepper, bitter orange and tobacco leaf. Refreshing acidity and structured tannins merge with subtle notes of spice on the finish.
