Description   Intensely ruby-red in color with violet hues, this blend of 80% Prugnolo (Sangiovese) and 20% Aglianico offers subtle scents of plums, cherries, blackberry, boysenberry, spices and vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied, lush and velvety with a perfect balance between ripe wild berries flavors and pleasant acidity. Soft tannins frame an elegant and long finish with spice and licorice notes. Excellent with richly flavored dishes, try this red with meats, small game and aged cheeses.
