Delightful! |

This absinthe has a distinct "fresh baked" quality to it, that should appeal to those with a sweet tooth. Fortunately, this is achieved with precision, without becoming a badiane-bomb.
Makes me wish there was a 4 1/2 star option!
It is produced on a small scale, so order a bottle before it is out of stock again!

amazing perfume/aroma/fragrance |

This one is way up there with the perfume/fragrance characteristics compared to other modern absinthes . I am not so enthused about the use of grain alcohol as a base compared to the smoother, silkier results that can be had with using grape alcohol(brandy) but still pretty good despite this . A 'powdery' creamy taste that is unlike other absinthes that i've had , anyway . The green-est shade of absinthe that i've yet seen ... I'm trying the Meadow of Love next to see how it compares .

I've tried eight different absinthes so far, and this is my top pick. It has an outstanding, refined flavor and a rich, creamy mouthfeel.
Green anise and fennel are certainly there, but there's also a peppery sweetness that is just shy of being minty (possibly the lemon thyme).
You cannot go wrong with either this one or Meadow Of Love. Buy them and love them!

a delightful, traditional absinthe |

This absinthe is a perfect tradition styling.
The nose is wonderfully fragrant and aromatic. A beautiful balance of all the main herbs, especially once you add water.
The louche is near perfect. Opalescent green, not too thick, not too thin. Great mouthfeel. Its numbs the tongue oh so well.
The taste is a great balance. All the herbs play off one another and seem to all hang around for the long haul. It doesn't just fade to the wormwood bitterness, even the sweetness of the fenel seems to stay all day.
I highly recommend this. Well worth the price.
