This is one of my favorites. Not too sweet. Very earthy tones. I love it. Keep up the good work girl.

The drier and more bitter counterpart to Walton Waters, MOL is more earthy tasting with the addition of violet as an ingredient which I believe lends to a more rustic and earthier tasting 'sinthe. Almost a taste of the ground/soil that the herbs were grown in ... fans of bitter absinthe will appreciate this one . If you prefer the sweeter and gentler absinthes, you're best to go with the Walton Waters instead ...

Meadow Of Love is the slightly more bitter (and spicier) cousin to Walton Waters that is every bit as enjoyable, but in different way. The flavor is outstanding, and it's distinct flavor seems to owe a great deal to the violet.
If you get both this one and Walton Waters, you will have my two favorite absinthes and well on your way to happiness.

To the other reviews, except to say this is indeed one of the best (indeed, perhaps the best) absinthes on the market. You can taste the distiller's artistry in every sip. More than worth the price.

Along with Pacifique, this is my favorite commercial absinthe available today, and it rivals a couple of the pre-ban brands I've sampled. The violet works beautifully as a segue into some terrific rural Virginia wormwood, and along with a hefty dose of hyssop, the dry/slightly bitter palate is absolutely captivating. The louche is full, and the mouth feel is creamy, and there's just right amount of anise and fennel to round out this beauty, and add a dash of sweetness.
This one is definitely already a winner, and it's very young. I can't wait to see what a few months of age will reveal in the flavor
Amazing creation, Cheryl!
