Established in 1998 by the Cecchini family, the D'Orsaria Winery is located in a small country village surrounded by the hills of the Colli Orientali del Friuli. The name Orsaria is believed to derive from the bears ("orso" in Italian) that once lived in the local forests of the area.

On the nose, D'Orsaria Cabernet Franc displays vibrant aromas of red berry and plum, enhanced by hints of violet and spice. Light and fresh on the palate, notes of cherry, raspberry, and pepper are complemented by soft tannins and a lingering finish. Pair with lighter foods such as grilled chicken, lean meat, or seafood.
