Founded in 1820, D'Oliveira is one of the most prominent Madeira producers in the world. They have carefully stored and preserved many of their most famous vintages, creating a unique and irreplaceable stock of old wines. Every wine is an original D'Oliveira, and was harvested from their own vineyards in Sao Martinho, one of the great viticultural sites in Madeira. These full-bodied, aromatic wines have been aging in oak casks for years and are only bottled in very limited quantities.

The 1973 vintage is bold and inviting with vibrant aromas of fig, toffee and raisin on the nose. The palate is full, complex, and impeccably balanced with rich flavors of hazelnut, almond and tangy citrus fruit that linger through the finish.
