Three time winner of Whisky Magazine's "Innovator of the Year" (2002, 2003, and 2006), Compass Box has quickly gained renown for their distinctive, iconoclastic blended whiskies. Compass Box Hedonism is no exception. This is an unusual bottling of rare grain whiskies released in very limited quantities created through careful cask selection, the highest quality cooperage, and the meeting of eight to 15 casks of grain whisky from distilleries like Cameron Bridge and Cambus. Rich and textured on the palate, with full flavors of vanilla, toasted coconut, and toffee, this artisanal spirit is composed primarily of whisky over 20 years old, having been aged in first-fill American oak casks. As it is crafted without the use of chill filtering, Hedonism retains every note of complexity from the barrel to the bottle.
