Produced in Saumur, France since 1834, Combier was the world's first triple sec; in fact, current bottlings are still produced using the Combier family's original copper alembics. However, even though this spirit has a long history, it has only recently become available in the United States. Unlike many orange liqueurs on the market, Combier is made to exacting standards of quality. And unlike most, Combier is a full 80 proof, making it particularly well-suited for the very best cocktails.
