Hailing from Buffalo Trace Distillery, this limited edition bourbon was created in honor of Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. - one of the founding fathers of the bourbon industry. Produced in extremely limited quantities and "Bottled in Bond" at 100 proof, Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch Bourbon is created by batching seven year old barrels from the sixth floor of Buffalo Trace's iconic brick warehouse. A bold nose of oak, citrus fruit and vanilla leads to complex flavors of caramel, butterscotch, licorice, orange peel and dark chocolate. Hints of pepper and tobacco accent the intense oak finish. Like the previous five releases, both the label and canister are reminiscent of Taylor's bottles from over one hundred years ago.
