Clos du Papillon is the flagship wine of this esteemed Savennieres producer, known for vinifying Chenin Blanc of exceptional complexity and quality. Strong acidity and distinct flavors of beeswax, quinine and bitter almond are characteristic of this appellation, and "Clos du Papillon" balances this with complimentary flavors of peach, apricot, and pronounced minerality. This wine is an excellent companion to both French and Asian cuisines, and makes a great aperitif. Only 300 cases imported.
