Clement "Creole Shrubb" Liqueur is a spectacularly rich, Rhum Agricole-based treat. Starting with a blend of white and aged rum, the spirit is infused with bitter orange peels and Creole spices. It is macerated in oak casks, and sweetened with pure sugarcane syrup. The result is concentrated and balanced in spite of the sweetness: it displays peppery notes, orange peel, chocolate and fresh sugar cane notes. It's fantastically mixable, and delicious on its own.

I was turned onto this product by a friend.  It's become my standard for any drink I can get away with.  The shrubb's vinegar qualities just come out more pronounced than the conservative French liqueurs.  It doesn't work in every scenario, but if you like Tiki drinks, this is probably the best alternative to triple-sec out there.

Delicious, smooth & a lovely orange flavor. Not at all cloying. Reminds me of my honeymoon in Martinique.
