The Chateau La Goutere vineyards are located near Saint Emilion, the oldest wine production region in Bordeaux. The clay-based soil and climatic influence of the Dordogne River provide the ideal conditions for Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This blend of 77% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc offers enticing aromas of ripe berries, complemented by a subtle hint of vanilla. Lovely notes of earth and fresh herbs enhance the fruit-forward palate, and merge with round, soft tannins on the finish.
