Chateau Brillette was owned by the Comte du Perier de Larsan for nearly a century, until it was acquired by the Flageul family in 1976. It is considered one of the most highly reputed vineyards of Moulis-en-Medoc, and is among the oldest in the region. Chateau Brillette Moulis-en-Medoc is an expressive blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Aromas of ripe berry fruit, black licorice, coffee and wood smoke follow through to the full-bodied palate, where they merge with velvety tannins and lively acidity. Hints of vanilla, pepper and earth appear on the powerful finish. This wine is ready to enjoy now, but will continue to develop over the next ten years.
