Chateau de la Clapiere is located in the foothills of the shaley Maures mountains, at the crossroads of the fertile Sauvebonne and Borrels valleys where the vines blossom amidst citrus fruits and palm trees in a micro-climate. Grapes are harvested during the beginning of September with cold maceration including the skins. Gentle pneumatic pressing and regularized alcoholic fermentation at 16°c. in air-conditioned cellar preserves the maximum aromas and the quality of each variety.
An elegant blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, Chateau de la Clapiere Cotes de Provence Cru Classe Rose offers an expressive nose brimming with fresh notes of raspberry, cherry, watermelon seed and green tea. The palate is firm and focused with generous acidity. Bright fruit notes are complemented by hints of sandalwood and mineral undertone. Subtle notes of spicy rose emerges on the intriguing finish.
