We want to offer our customers as many options as possible when shopping at DrinkUpNY. Unfortunately, including the original container--generally either a cardboard tube or box--adds significant cost to shipping. If you'd like to receive this packaging with your bottle, you can add it to your order for a small fee.

Description

Limited Release - One bottle per customer please.
Cacao Prieto was founded by Daniel Prieto Preston, an inventor and aerospace engineer, whose family has been farming organic cacao and sugar cane in the Dominican Republic for more than 100 years. Organic sugars from the Dominican Republic, as well as organic cacao beans from the family's Coralina farms, are transported to Red Hook, Brooklyn, where they are expertly transformed into artisanal rum, liqueur and chocolate.

Curated from a mashbill of 58% Organic Bloody Butcher Corn, 15% Heirloom Barley and 27% Rye, Cacao Prieto "Widow Jane Bloody Butcher" High-Rye Bourbon Whiskey is a farm-to-bottle spirit without the use of any genetically modified corn, grain, yeast, or enzyme. Both the nose and palate offer complex notes of cacao, sandalwood, dried orchard fruit, and cedar, supported by an undercurrent of sharp apricot, toasted marshmallow, cardamom and candied apple. Hints of salted peanut, grilled honeyed peach lingers through the long, structured finish.
