The Verdi family has been in the winemaking business since the 18th Century. At first the farm produced wheat and corn, but over time transformed into a vineyard. It was not until after World War II that the family actually started bottling their own wines at the estate. Today, the youngest member of the family carries on the winemaking traditions while adding modern technology to the process.

The Sangue Di Giuda is a red wine made from a blend of 65% Croatina, 20% Uva Rara and 15% Barbera, all harvested from the Paradiso vineyard. Aromas of fresh cherry and red currant lead to slightly sweet notes of wildberry and lilac on the palate. Hints of pine and cedar complement the lingering finish.
