Located 9,600 feet above sea level, Breckenridge Distillery is owned by Bryan Nolt and operated by master distiller Jordan Via. His handcrafted, small batch spirits are created using a Vendome custom copper pot still and premium ingredients - including snowmelt from the Rocky Mountains. Both massive snowfall and the glaciers atop Mount Quandary, provide pristine water with a unique pH balance which lends distinctive flavor and texture.
Created from corn, malted barley and rye, Breckenridge Colorado Bourbon has been aged in charred Missouri white oak barrels for three years. Pronounced aromas of brown sugar, baked apple and banana lead to a balanced, medium bodied palate of corn, dried fruit, ginger and oak, complemented by spicy notes of white pepper and toasted sesame. Undertones of sweet vanilla and honey enhance the spicy, fruit-forward finish.
